· Colocation enables operators to reduce costs and harness synergies in shared infrastructures
Madrid, 25 November 2025 — lyntia, the leading wholesale telecommunications infrastructure operator in the Iberian Peninsula, announces the expansion of its Colocation service with the addition of new standardised features for ILAs (InLine Amplifiers).
lyntia’s Colocation product, which already offers physical space and auxiliary services at 5 Data Centres and more than 150 Network Centres in Spain and Portugal, is evolving to respond more precisely to the needs of operators rolling out Dark Fibre networks. This upgrade reinforces lyntia’s focus as a comprehensive provider of solutions tailored to critical optical infrastructures.
Standard ILAs: more than just space, flexible management
ILAs allow optical amplifiers to be housed in Dark Fibre routes. lyntia offers this option throughout the Iberian Peninsula, with a special focus on high-demand routes crossing the peninsula (Lisbon-Madrid, Madrid-Barcelona and Bilbao-Lisbon), as an additional complement to fibre contracts on these routes.
Customers will be able to:
· Request hosting in new or existing Network Centres or cabinets
· Request the construction and maintenance of exclusive and customised sites
· Choose whether to provide their own equipment or have lyntia do so
· Outsource the management, maintenance and incident response of optical equipment
“ILAs are not just an intermediate point in the network: they are a critical control point. With this new option, we offer not only infrastructure, but also managed services that can be adapted to the level of control that each customer desires”, explains Fernando Conde, Infrastructure Product Manager at lyntia
More value, more control
These new options offer tangible benefits for customers:
· Cost savings: customers benefit from a shared infrastructure at a much lower price than if they were to build it themselves.
· Immediate availability: installation in existing locations without waiting for construction.
· Customisation of the level of management of optical equipment according to customer needs and their presence on the peninsula.
· Efficiency: harness the synergies of shared infrastructure.
These improvements consolidate lyntia as a leading operator in southern Europe, enhancing its product catalogue, providing greater added value to its customers and guaranteeing the availability of sites at strategic points along critical communication routes throughout the Iberian Peninsula.

· The company has obtained a score of 770 points on the BitSight Index, consolidating its high level of cybersecurity in the telecommunications sector
Madrid, 18 November 2025 — lyntia, a leading wholesale telecommunications infrastructure operator in Spain and Portugal, reaffirms its commitment to information security and protection, strategic elements within its corporate culture.
The company continues to develop initiatives that reinforce the trust of its customers, collaborators and employees, integrating security into every stage of its operations. As part of its strategic cybersecurity plan, lyntia has achieved a score of 770 points on the BitSight Index, one of the most internationally recognised platforms for evaluating the security of organisations.
The BitSight Index continuously analyses thousands of public and private data points, including vulnerabilities, incidents detected and insecure configurations, to assign a score that reflects a company’s level of protection and maturity against digital risks. The official BitSight scale ranges from 250 to 900 points, with 900 being the theoretical maximum; however, the effective range for real companies is typically between 300 and 820 points.
lyntia’s result of 770 points reflects a very high level of maturity and effectiveness in its controls and processes on the BitSight scale. It also places the company among the organisations with the best security and risk management practices in the sector.
Furthermore, this commitment to information protection is backed by the company’s key certifications, including ISO 27001 and adherence to the National Security Scheme (ENS).
‘At lyntia, we understand cybersecurity as an ongoing commitment; it is part of who we are and how we deliver value. Our BitSight score, together with ISO 27001 certification and ENS compliance, are milestones that demonstrate results, but we continue to drive initiatives to increase our resilience and protection further.’ – Marta Ruperez, IT Director at lyntia
